Porter High School students' art sells for $10,000

Two Porter High School students, Jose Palma and Tanner Hodgkinson, both sold their artwork at the Houston Livestock Show adn Rodeo's school art auction, and each saw their pieces sell for $10,000. Both Hodgkinson and Palma received a portion of the proceeds from the sale in scholarship form. 

Hodginkson, along with two other students, also won a scholarship to the Western Art Academy, which is an intensive month-long workshop at Schreiner University. This workshop focuses on scultpure, drawing and oil painting. For more on this story, visit here.
