Porter High School’s Gold Out Game is coming up fast, and this year’s mission is to support the fight against cancer. The money raised will be donated to Addis Faith and Sunshine Kids Foundations. This conference game will be on October 11, 2019 at Porter High School, and the Kings Mill community is excited to cheer the Spartans to victory!

There are two ways to help support Porter High School in this mission –

1.    Donate $100 or more to sponsor one Black and Gold Jersey and have the name of a cancer survivor or lost loved one on the back of the jersey. The football players will present the jerseys to the sponsoring families during a ceremony at the end of the game. There are 25 medium jerseys available for sponsorship. There will be a check-in station in the community room at Randall Reed Stadium at 5:45 p.m. for those who sponsor a jersey. The proceeds from this sponsorship will go to the Children’s Brain Cancer Research through the Addis Faith Foundation.

2.    Purchase a “Gold Out” T-Shirt for $10. The money raised from t-shirt sales will go towards “supporting families that are dealing with cancer on a daily basis.” Students can purchase shirts during lunchtimes on Monday through Wednesday, September 30 - October 2, and October 7 - October 9.

For those who would like to sponsor a jersey, please ask Coach Jim Holley for the required form.
